Haman was a man honored by King Xerxes during the time of Esther. He wanted to kill all the Jews living in the land. The king gave Haman the go ahead not knowing Esther, the queen, was a Jew herself. Mordecai, Esther's cousin, pleaded with her to talk with the king even though her life was at stake, because she said she couldn’t just walk right in and talk to the king, he could put her to death for doing that.

Mordecai then proceeds to tell her in Esther 4:14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this (NIV)?”

Your voice matters! You are royalty as a child of God (1 Peter 2:9). Someone needs you as a light in their life. You could be saving their life. Don’t stop being an encourager to your neighbor, raising those kiddos in your home to be warriors for God or living by faith as you walk out your calling God has given you. God made you for a time as now to deliver a message of your faith. Do not wait until it is too late and they perish never knowing Jesus and the eternity they can have with Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Esther saw victory as she was a voice for the Jews! She helped save their life!

Ask God to help you be bold and brave. Greater is He who is in me (1 John 4:4). You were made for such a time as this!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for making me at such a time as this! You have me planted here for a purpose. Lord, help me to walk in that purpose. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
