Who Do You Vent To?

I have days where I have just unloaded everything to God – the good, the bad and the in-between – I mean everything. I could be having a rough day in my home where the dishes are piling up, kids are not listening, the house looks like a tornado went through and serving feels a tad bit hard. I use to vent to other people about it, but now I take it to Jesus. Here is why I take it to Jesus, because Jesus can help me. First, He can give me peace and calm down any anxiety I may be having. Secondly, He can give wisdom on what to do. Thirdly, He is my refuge. He should be the first person I run to, to talk it out with.

Joshua tells the Israelites – not one of God’s promises have failed. Joshua 23:14 “Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed (NIV).

God will not fail you! He hears you. He is with you. He loves you. You can trust Him above all else. God will not let you down – He will help you! Give God a call!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that not one of Your promises have ever failed. I am thankful for the promises that You have given us. I pray that I make you number one in my life, trusting you first and foremost in my life. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
