Pray for It Again

Often times we give up on praying for things because they have not happened yet. Pray for it again – you never know, that could be the one time you pray for it and see it happen in your life.

A year ago, I bought a car. I had my car for a long time. It was older and it was time for a newer car – more reliable. I think I prayed for a newer vehicle for like two years. The budget I had looked like a used car, so I was looking at used vehicles. I remember my latch stopped working on the trunk of my car, and I went directly into prayer, “Lord, please help me, I need a newer car, things are breaking on mine.” The very next day, my husband and I went and purchased a brand-new car for the same price as the used cars that I was looking at. I had prayed one more time.

I always think of the parable in Luke 18:1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up (NIV).

Pray for it again. Do not give up on praying for it! Hold onto those prayers with expectancy that God is going to answer them. God can do way more than we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You because You can answer our prayers. I pray that I will not give up on coming to You and talking to You in prayer. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
