God is on the Move

This whole entire week has been crazy in my home. We have been in some situations that we did not want to be in, nor seen coming, but I see God moving in an incredible way. He has been working through the entire situation. During my faith journaling time at the beginning of the week I wrote down these words - on the move.
I began to read about David being on the move again. This time from Absalom. Absalom was trying to take over as king. David trusted God’s plan as he went back into the wilderness. It says in 2 Samuel 15:25-26 Then the king said to Zadok, “Take the ark of God back into the city. If I find favor in the Lord’s eyes, he will bring me back and let me see it and his dwelling place again." But if he says, "I am not pleased with you,' then I am ready; let him do to me whatever seems good to him."
David did not want to leave the palace and be in the situation he was in. The Bible says he cried as he went up Mount of Olives. None of us want to go into the wilderness, to go through suffering, trials, the unknown, but we have to remember God is always with us (Deuteronomy 31:6) and He is always working it out for our good (Romans 8:28).
God sees things through from start to finish, but it is up to us to trust His plan. Just as God moved with David from place to place, the Holy Spirit dwells with in us – He is always on the move with us and working. Are we opening our hearts to the will of God? He may want to heal a wound, or share the next step He wants you to take. God is always on the Move!
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that You dwell within me and that You are always with me. I pray that I will trust Your plan, and remember it is always for my good. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
