Finding Beauty in God's Creation

Every time I look up at the sky, I find myself amazed at the beauty of God’s creation. The sunsets are beautiful and never the same with a variety of colors, wisps or cloud shapes. And with a world that has troubles, He wants us to know He is the creator of this world and His beauty and light exists even in a fallen world. Try and look past any troubles you are facing and find the beauty in God's creation.

John 1:3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made (NIV).

John 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (NIV).

This week as I have looked up at the sky, I have found just that - beauty. Often times we tend to look at all the negative things in life, see nothing but the troubles, point out the flaws and can easily overlook the creation around us and enjoy Gods glory in our lives. It is in those moments when we see His work, we can take a deep breath and know that it is going to be okay, because He is in control.

Look for the green in the grass. Look at the beautiful you when you look at yourself in the mirror. Look at the creation around you. Look for the flower that is blooming. Look for the positive in your situation. We can find the Light that is always shining in the darkness when we look. I find that to be beautiful, because when darkness lingers we need Jesus. He is so worth finding! He is good! His works will never cease to amaze me!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me eyes to see how wonderful Your work is! I praise You today for Your work is beyond incredible, it is inspiring! Help me to see it more than I see the troubles of this world. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
