Everything is Possible for One Who Believes

Last night I received an encouraging text message with this seven-letter word – Believe. Underneath the word believe was this verse – Mark 9:23 “If you can?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes (NIV).”

Sometimes we may struggle and get discouraged believing that everything is possible with God. Maybe you have some unbelief that God is able to answer your prayer. Doubting He can do a miracle in your life. Doubting that relationship will be restored. Doubting that God has a purpose and plan for you – a better plan than you have for yourself. Doubting that it is not going to get better. Is there anything you are doubting today that you need to say to that doubt, “No, today, I believe that everything is possible with Jesus!”

Write this verse down this week and look at it everyday as a reminder, or if you are like me, I actually have this in block form up in my living room on a shelf. When I look at it, I am reminded that there is hope and that nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37). You may be stretched a little thin right now, discouraged or in doubt, but EVERYTHING is possible. You just have to believe.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the hope that You bring into our lives. Help me to not doubt, but believe that with You everything is possible. In Jesus’ Name I Pray, Amen.
